Highlights of Restaurant Densho Ebisu
A garden that displays different beautiful
scenery for each season is one part of Densho Ebisu’s hospitality.
With tiles made by craftsmen who worked on the restoration of Himeji Castle,
our garden richly expresses a traditional Japanese aesthetic sense.
Hair crab and sea urchin from Hokkaido,
domestic caviar from sturgeon shops in Okayama, fan mussel from the Seto Inland Sea, helmeted guinea fowl from Ibaraki,
fresh-cut bamboo shoots from Kyoto—here, you can enjoy your fill of the various seasonal bounties of the the land and sea.
We serve the highest grade Uonuma- produced koshihikari yukitsubaki (snow camellia) rice grown in Tsunan, Niigata Prefecture.
Our rice is cooked in earthenware pots masterfully made by master potter Nakagawa Ippento of Shigaraki Kumoigama, with water from Tsunan.
We use elaborate tableware, such as that from Tokko kiln,
representative of Arita earthenware, Fukusen-gama kiln, Kankosuiyo kiln, and Hoju-kama kiln.
Our customers can also enjoy our original bowls.
We carefully select famous, high-quality sake, including Kokuryu, Dassai 23, and Hokusetsu YK35.
For wine, we exclusively serve spirits from the California winery Ch.igai Takaha, also served in JAL’s first class.
Our staff wait to serve you with hospitality.
At Our restaurant, located two minutes east of the United States Consulate on 2 Chome, Nishitenma, Kita-ku, you can enjoy traditional Japanese food washoku, a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage, and a garden overflowing with an atmosphere of Japanese harmony.
We greet our customers with hospitable hearts, preparing Japanese cuisine using carefully selected seasonal ingredients from around Japan, choice spirits, and elegant tableware.
We are devoted to exceeding our customers’ expectations and hope that you will continue to grant us your esteemed patronage.
